Our expectations are tethered
To a seemingly constant interface.
From there on, are structured
Opinions above the base.

But there comes a time When an alteration is found.
Events no longer rhyme
With thoughts that had bound.
A devastating dissonance indeed!
To come upon such a stage
And work around one’s creed.
Do as ye may, the day will age.
Soon bring to accept, you will,
There’s no shame in welcoming
The queer, lesser, unfamiliar till,
Yourself – you begin neglecting.

I must say that you are indeed a prolific writer. Well am reading your blogs and poems for the first time (your father told me about your work after seeing my page (which I’ve apparently started a couple of days back) ). I must tell you that in many ways we think alike. I love reading too and I swear would love to retire as a book shop owner too.. Ive been writing poetry since a couple of months. So when you have time and if you wish to ..please go through my page and tell me how you find them. I would love to have an opinion of someone who thinks so much like me..Looking forward to hear from you..LOve: Monika
