Moods of Love (Haiku)

The outcome of brain storming for an assignment πŸ™‚

Unrequited Love
Your stormy gaze would
Never fall on me. I, who,
Shy from the limelight

This haiku talks about unrequited love. How people are left to deal with one-sided love or attraction. Fleeting glances and wishful thinking are all they can afford. And how disconcerting it must be if you have to see him/her everyday! Especially when you know, you have fallen for someone who’d never look your way (no inferiority complex here! Thats the way it just is)

Realization
Like rain your love,
caressed me. Little did I know,
Of its stinging ache.

Often in love, people become soft and oblivious to their surroundings or actual happenings. They turn a blind eye/ear to that which would probably upset them. In a way, its trust. But trusting too early is never a wise thing to do. Cause when this love comes back to bite you in the ass, it shatters your perception of life and all that matters.

Trust
Blindfolded you and me.

Set this ballroom alight, with
our gallant strides.

Trust comes first in a relationship. Perhaps beside understanding. It takes a lot to trust and very little to break it. So value what you have! And try not to break someone’s trust. Its almost like smashing their heart. The heart can be glued back together but the cracks never fade.Β

Love yourself and those close to you! Life becomes beautiful πŸ™‚ But be careful! πŸ™‚
