(Inspired by a fantasy novel)

That, which cares not a bit.
Fending for itself, seeking solace in its own shadow.
Humility long gone, dissolved into nothingness.
Slowly draining the life essence.
Surrounded by an unceasing storm,
It absorbs you into the gloom.

It works alone, and alone it’ll strive.
Faith and belief needed no more,
Masters of the hunt.
Hawk-eyed, it strikes like a cobra,
A moment of weakness is all it looks for.
A monster, it is.

Where love and kindness once bloomed,
A dark hole now persists.
Scornful and vengeance thirsty.
Its existence is forever doomed,
To be a disdainful one.
Threads of hatred sown together,
Marking years worth of discontent.
A monster has been created.

This is something I wrote about a character, in a fantasy novel. Just try to put together every supernatural villain you know, and I guess you’ll sort of be able to make sense of this (if you want to) πŸ˜› I thought they deserve some special attention so I wrote this πŸ˜€
