Pillar of Support.

Dad. A three lettered word. Yet it carries a strong and deep meaning. To some a father, to others “daddy” it is. No matter how many words there are, that refer to a father, it can never completely justify the position that this being holds in your life. He’s been there for you, ever since he agreed to bring you into this world. He’s been there for you, ever since you opened those baby lips and mumbled your first word (usually either Mom or Dad) in a somewhat coherent tone. Eagerly waiting for the day, you’d finally be able to say “Dad”, your father has been earnestly urging you on.
A father is the one who promises to hold onto your bicycle and yet let goes after awhile, just to watch his child drive confidently without worry. He caught you when you fell and gave you the will power to get up, brush off the dirt and carry on with your head high. He does everything in his power to boost your morale and to ensure that you receive no less than what you wish for. A true example of courage, valiance and love.

He strives to keep the family afloat. Providing everyone with more than enough to fill their belly and working to transform their dreams into reality. Something that every father ought to know, is that even though he is the pillar of support, he has his family to back him up. To reduce the weight of the responsibility that is inevitably put on him. I am really really luck to have a father this good. He’s always been there for me whether right or wrong. Guiding, supporting, disciplining. He’s known what I’m good at, and he’s done nothing but help me get to where I am. Taught me important life lessons. Letting me learn from my mistakes, giving me the freedom to make my own choices. He’s been a good friend who would never judge me based on my mistakes. I couldn’t be more grateful to God. Really.

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY, DAD! 🙂
Love you infinity times infinity and thank you for everything! ❤
